The Ethos Planning System

Values + Goals + Strategies = Smart Financial Decisions

At Ethos, we refuse to deliver cookie cutter advice and strive to deliver the highest level of personalization possible. To deliver this result, we must go beyond traditional financial advice that only focuses on numbers.

We start our process by taking the time to understand what’s important to you and exploring your core values. This helps us get a genuine understanding of what truly matters to you and allows us to deliver a plan that is uniquely yours.

Our approach is a friendly 4-step method that helps you uncover the things that are most important to you, envision your ideal future, and connects you to personalized strategies and action plans that are tailored to your needs.

1. Connecting

Let’s break the ice! We’re eager to learn about your financial life and what brings you to us. Our first chat is a chance for us to understand your financial aspirations and for you to see what it’s like to work with Ethos. If we both determine it’s a good fit, you’ll sign the paperwork to become a client and start your journey through the Ethos Planning System.

2. Aligning

Your journey begins with exploring your values and goals. Our goal is to gain a deeper understanding of what we’ve already discussed during our initial call. We’ll introduce tools to help you uncover your values, envision your ideal future, and get clear on your current financial situation.

3. Planning

Fueled by your values and goals, we’ll create your unique financial plan. Over the next 4-6 weeks, we’ll meet to discuss the relevant parts of your plan. Including income, investments, taxes, and estate planning. By the end of this process, you’ll have an easy to understand plan with clear actionable steps.

4. Optimizing

Planning is not a one and done process, and your plan should evolve with your life. Moving forward, we’ll meet on a quarterly basis to make adjustments and make sure that you are on-track to accomplish your goals.
